2024 STC PRESTIGE Awards Nominations Now Open!

Nominate exceptional sport tourism initiatives, games & events!

Sport Tourism Canada (STC) is now accepting nominations for the PRESTIGE Awards. The 2024 edition of the PRESTIGE Awards is special as STC will be recognizing the outstanding people, corporations and events hosted in 2023.The presentation of the awards and a bruncheon will take place during Sport Events Congress in Winnipeg, March 13-15, 2024 at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg. STC’s PRESTIGE Awards celebrate the people, places and events that make the Canadian sport tourism industry so dynamic. These awards are presented annually in six categories to honour individuals, companies and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the success of the sport tourism industry.

• PRESTIGE award nominations are open to members of Sport Tourism Canada.
• Award nominations are for events that occurred during the 2023 calendar year.
• Self-nominations are permitted and encouraged.
• Nominations must be submitted online.
• Point form is encouraged.
• Please note, once you have submitted the nomination form, you will not be able to make any changes or edits to your submission.
• Deadline to submit your nomination is January 5, 2024

IMPORTANT –  Please ensure you have ALL the required information BEFORE you begin to complete the nomination form as there is no option to save the form and return to it later. All of the information that is required for submitting a nomination can be found in the guidelines section for each award. If you submit an incomplete form, you will not be able to go back and add or change any of the information on the online form. To assist in your preparation, the point totals used in the adjudication have been indicated in the relevant sections.

  • Group A: Event budget greater than $1 million 
  • Group B: Event budget less than $1 million
• STC INTERNATIONAL SPORT EVENT OF THE YEAR AWARD

  • Group B: Event budget less than $2 million
• STC CANADIAN SPORT EVENT SPONSORSHIP INITIATIVE OF THE YEAR AWARD
