The very best in Canada’s Sport Tourism Industry were honoured during the 2024 PRESTIGE Awards ceremony held on March 15th at the RBC Convention Centre Winnipeg.  Nine recipients across eight award categories were recognized.
 The PRESTIGE (Program Recognizing Exceptional Sport Tourism Initiatives, Games & Events) Awards, now in their 16th year, have honoured exceptional sport events, people and organizations since their inception in 2007.   Sport Tourism Canada is proud to announce the 2024 PRESTIGE Award winners:

Canadian Sport Event of the Year: Group A (budget greater than $1M) presented by Marriott International

  • Grey Cup Festival – Hamilton, ON and Niagara Falls, ON

Canadian Sport Event of the Year: Group B (budget less than $1M) presented by Marriott International

  • Junior All Native Tournament – Snuneymuxw First Nation and Nanaimo, BC

International Sport Event of the Year: Group A (budget greater than $2M) presented by Travel Manitoba

  • World Police and Fire Games – Winnipeg, MB
