Sponsorship Programs & Vendor Alley
Sport Events Congress is the only event in Canada that brings together all the sport tourism stakeholders in the same room at the same time.
Our event sponsors STAND OUT!
As valued partners our sponsors help us to activate various aspects of the event, engage our attendees, liven-up our hospitality socials, and create effective and meaningful ways for our delegates to develop long-term business relationships with each other.
Our sponsors meet more people, go away with more (and higher quality) leads, and have a more visible brand for their products/services in the sea of 400+ delegates.

SEC23 SPONSORSHIP PROGRAM
SEC23 has been designed to help facilitate the recovery of sport hosting. The SEC23 program is interactive, educational, offers opportunities for business-to-business networking, and includes evening social events (including an Edmonton Oilers game).
SEC23 sponsors are brands who want to build meaningful relationships with the audience and who are open to create engaging activations that enhance the program for all attendees. Sport Tourism Canada is looking for partners! Does this sound like you?

Vendor Alley & Sponsorship FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What type of booth traffic will exhibitors get?
We cannot guarantee that every SEC delegate will visit your booth – that is YOUR job as an exhibitor to drive crowds to your kiosk by hosting engaging activities or games or offering prizes. However, it is STCs job to bring the right quantity and quality of event participants to Sport Events Congress. See ‘Who’s Coming’ for more info about the typical SEC audience or review our event audience data.
What is the price of booth space at Sport Events Congress?
What type of marketing support is available to Exhibitors?
STC promotes Vendor Alley to attendees onsite via announcements and text messages. There are social media mentions on Twitter as well. If you are seeking marketing elements or a bigger presence at SEC (such as logo placement, speaking opportunities or activations), we suggest you consider becoming an event sponsor.
Where will my booth be located?
Our trade show floor plan changes from one year to the next depending on the venue and we work with a local trade show supplier to create a floor plan that makes good use of the space and will optimize the exhibitor experience. Exhibitors in Vendor Alley are not permitted to pick their specific booth location, but we do try to assign the best spots to exhibitors who confirm early on. We’ll also try to separate you from your competitor.
Do you offer WiFi as part of the Vendor Alley package?
What support will exhibitors receive from Sport Tourism Canada?
STC is dedicated to ensuring you have a successful show. We will provide a very detailed trade show welcome package. We also provide some suggestions on fun and interactive elements you can incorporate into your space. Our Vendor Alley Coordinator is available to answer any questions you may have pre-event or onsite.
Are there load-in and load-out instructions?
Our local trade show supplier will assist all exhibitors with rentals, shipping, and other logistics during load-in and load-out.
When should I staff my booth?
The SEC trade show is not a stand-alone event. It is fully integrated into the SEC schedule. As such, we suggest exhibitors staff their booth during the timeframe identified for Vendor Alley on the event schedule. Exhibitors receive a full delegate pass with their Vendor Alley package which means you have access to all the same activities and sessions as everyone else. Don’t waste your time standing at your booth when everyone else is in meeting rooms or taking part in other activities. Get out there and participate along with everyone else!
How many people can attend the show with me?
Can I share booth space with another company or organization?
Booth sharing is not permitted unless special arrangements have been made.
Can I contact delegates in advance to request that they meet me at my booth space at a specific time?
The SEC event schedule is jam packed and most delegates prefer to make their own decisions about which booths to visit and when. Vendor Alley is not intended to be an area where one-on-one meetings or appointments can be held.
I have a prize to give away at my booth. Can I have 5 minutes on stage at some point to announce the winner of my draw?
Exhibitors are responsible for managing their own contests and prizing and there is no opportunity to publicly announce prize winners during SEC unless they are an event sponsor.
Are exhibitors permitted to do any food or beverage sampling?
Prior approval from STC and the venue will be required.
I’ve heard about the speed dating activity? Is this part of Vendor Alley? Am I eligible to participate?
Sport Events Exchange (aka speed dating) is a business-to-business marketplace that provides an opportunity for events rights holders and destinations to meet one-on-one to explore sport events hosting opportunities. The Exchange is not part of Vendor Alley. Learn more about Sport Events Exchange here.
