STC’s PRESTIGE Awards celebrate the people, places and events that make the Canadian sport tourism industry so dynamic. These awards are presented annually in six categories to honour individuals, companies and organizations that have made outstanding contributions to the success of the sport tourism industry.

THE 2023 PRESTIGE AWARDS

Because so many sport events have been postponed or cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the next edition of the PRESTIGE Awards will be in spring 2023. The nomination is now open. The 2023 edition of the PRESTIGE Awards is special as STC will be recognizing the outstanding people, corporations and events hosted between 2020 and 2022.

The presentation of the awards and a luncheon will take place during Sport Events Congress in Richmond, BC, scheduled for June 6-8, 2023 at the Sheraton Vancouver Airport Hotel & Vancouver Airport Marriott.

We look forward to celebrating outstanding accomplishments in sport tourism with you in 2023 and in the meantime, we welcome you sharing the success stories of sport hosting during the recovery to help show the vibrancy and resiliency of our sector!
