On International Women’s Day, join us in celebrating the Canadian women of sport tourism .
Today we released a blog on LinkedIn that highlights the many ways that women have helped to shape the industry since Sport Tourism Canada was formed almost 22 years ago. Women in the sport tourism industry have chaired the Board, served as Directors, planned Sport Events Congress, spoken at events, and represented Canada on the world stage. Sport Tourism Canada is one of the few organizations in our industry that boasts a 50-50 gender balance on its board and in its staffing and consulting team.
