LONDON, June 20, 2023 – The Ontario Federation of School Athletic Associations (OFSAA) has named the City of London as host of the 2024 OFSAA Track and Field Championships. This prestigious high school track & field event will be hosted at Western Alumni Stadium, June 6 – 8, 2024.

The championships return to London after last being hosted here 13 years ago. The 2024 edition will welcome the best high school student-athletes from six regions in Ontario, including up to 850 high schools and 2900 athletes, as well as their families and coaches to London and Western University. This is another event that will help to showcase the recent renovations made to Western Alumni Stadium, while providing tremendous economic impact on the city. “OFSAA is excited to have London and the Western Ontario Secondary Schools Athletic Association (WOSSAA) play host to the 2024 OFSAA Track and Field Championship for the first time since 2010. An event of this magnitude requires the dedication and hard work of hundreds of volunteers, and we know that the organizing committee will be devoted to providing a memorable event for all student-athletes, coaches, families and spectators. We look forward to working with the host committee to create an event that showcases all of the amazing things the region has to offer.” Shamus Bourdon, Executive Director, OFSAA

“The OFSAA Track and Field Championships is one of the largest and most prestigious high school track meets in North America. Hosting OFSAA is an opportunity to help all participating student-athletes continue to experience high-level track and field at a first-rate event. We look forward to showcasing the newly updated Alumni Stadium and Western’s beautiful campus, as well as all that the London and the TVRA region has to offer.” Todd MacKay & Vickie Croley, 2024 OFSAA Track & Field Organizing Committee “OFSAA is an incredible platform for athletes to challenge themselves against some of the best athletes in the world for their age groups, and an important step for those athletes who wish to pursue their sport at the next level. To this day some of my favourite memories come from OFSAA, and it’s there where I got my first taste of high-level competition. I wouldn’t be where I am today without my experiences at OFSAA. I can’t wait to watch OFSAA next year, here at my home track at Western University in London.” Damian Warner, Olympic Champion, 2024 OFSAA Track & Field Ambassador
