While we have seen a huge uptake in hybrid events, STC believes that there is too much risk associated with hosting our annual event with an in-person element. As such, STC is hosting SEC21 as a 100% virtual event. Our production studio located at the Westin Ottawa Hotel in downtown Ottawa, Ontario (CANADA) will conform with preventative health protocols. The safety of our event production team and our speakers is our priority and we are taking measures to ensure we will be in compliance with the most current guidelines for events as set forth by the Ontario provincial government and Ottawa Public Health.
 
We will also follow the Westin Ottawa Hotel procedures designed to minimize potential COVID-19 exposure. This may include enhanced hygiene and cleaning measures onsite, daily screenings, physically distanced meeting spaces, flexible food and beverage options, and more.

We will provide a technology platform that is robust, including a trouble-shooting concierge service with live support from our event team.

The virtual experience will be engaging and offer 2-way interactions between delegates plus there will be live and pre-recorded content. Our program will feature shorter (snack-sized) pieces of content and longer (up to 45-minutes) sessions. Time zones across Canada will be factored in so that no one misses out!

We promise to entertain (and surprise and delight) our online attendees with the same lively and fun ambiance that in-person delegates are accustomed to experiencing.
