From bocce to baseball, soccer to skating, Vaughan is well-equipped with fields and facilities for a wide range of athletic and competitive gatherings. Vaughan Grove Sports Park 

Vaughan Grove Sports Park is a community hub of club training and league play on well-maintained, premium soccer fields and baseball diamonds. The park features an outdoor sports park facility, bocce courts, four premium baseball diamonds – including two hardball diamonds, and five soccer fields.  

 

The Thornhill Club 

Facilities at The Thornhill Club may be rented for business meetings, parties, conferences and sporting events. Venues and amenities include activity rooms that can also be used as meeting rooms, an art studio, fitness centre, multi-purpose room/gymnasium, swimming pool, and an outdoor amphitheatre. 

 

Ontario Soccer Centre 

Easily accessible from Ontario’s major highways, The Ontario Soccer Centre is ideal for tournaments, training, leagues, and clinics. The on-site 130,000 square-foot field house includes a full-sized indoor turf field that can be rented as a full field or divided quarters, and the outdoor stadium can accommodate up to 1,200 spectators.  

 

North Maple Regional Park 

As part of a two-phase development project, North Maple Regional Park will be greater than 900 acres in total – larger than New York City’s Central Park. With phase one completed in 2018, the park already features two FIFA-certified artificial turf soccer fields, spectator seating, 5 km of trails and a lookout area, lighting and signage, landscaping, a park pavilion, picnic areas with shelter, and toboggan hills.  

The Sports Village 

Spanning 30,000 square feet, The Sports Village has space for all of your sporting needs. The facility includes four NHL-sized ice rinks, outdoor sports parks, five outdoor beach volleyball courts, full-service restaurants, interactive games, three-on-three basketball courts, and multiple baseball diamonds.  

 

Trio Sportsplex 

Trio Sportsplex is located conveniently off Highway 400 and Teston Rd with quick access to all major highways, including 407 ETR and 401. The facility includes 60,000 square-foot of open space with five sport turf fields, three basketball courts, one private fitness Lab, four office spaces and 3,000 square-foot fully licensed sports bar & grill.  

    Canlan Ice Sports Arena 

    Canlan Ice Sports-York is a state-of-the-art, multi-purpose, entertainment and recreational facility that services communities throughout the Greater Toronto Area. The facility houses six ice surfaces, two meeting/conference rooms, a large bar and grill, Total Performance Athletics training facility, and Canlan Sports Shop – a full-service sports shop.  

     

    Dugout Baseball and Softball Academy 

    The Dugout Baseball & Softball Academy Inc. facility has been designed for players in Baseball or Softball who wish to optimize their talent and take their game to the next level. The facility features eight extra-large training areas, 10,000 square foot field, the latest high-impact turf, three 64 foot retractable batting cages with Iron Mike arm-style and Atec pitching machines, a full-length pitching tunnel, and more!  

     

    Getting There  

    Vaughan is located in the regional municipality of York, just 45 minutes north of Toronto. Two major highways intersect the city: Highway 7 and the 407, making travel to and within the city easily accessible. Toronto’s Pearson International Airport, Canada’s largest airport, is a short 20-minute drive from Vaughan’s downtown core. Complex transportation infrastructures – including highways, public transit, train services and more – paired with hundreds of accommodation options make Vaughan the ideal location to fulfill your team’s needs.
