OTTAWA (May 2, 2016) – The Coaching Association of Canada (CAC) is pleased to announce that the city of Calgary has been selected to host the 2017 Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif conference, which will take place from November 2-4, 2017 at the Westin Calgary. The event was last held in Calgary in 2013.
“We are delighted to work with our partner Alberta Sport Connection and the Calgary Sport Tourism Authority to bring the Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif conference back to Calgary,” said Lorraine Lafrenière, Chief Executive Officer of the CAC. “Calgary has a rich history in contributing to sport development for Canada and is a perfect setting for our 2017 annual conference.”

The Petro-Canada Sport Leadership sportif conference is Canada’s conference for coaches, researchers, sport executives, and administrators. It consists of three full days of learning, professional development, and networking with the top minds and leaders of the Canadian sport, business, and education communities.
